ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gianni Martinez (Gia) is an educator with over 18 years of experience, known for her deep commitment to teaching, creativity, and community engagement. Holding a  Master’s degree in Psychology, she applies support mental wellness and therapy. She is a passionate artist and poet, featured in the Women in Art exhibition and is an active member of 501 Spoken Word. Her love for art and nature intertwines with her advocacy for conservation and literacy.

 

Gianni's publications include The Adventures of Herbert the Hicatee, the Great Escape and The Quest for Friendship. Also,  she collaborated and has been published with different poets and authors. Gianni uses storytelling to inspire young minds and promote environmental awareness. She is an advocate of pursuing goals and having a positive approach to life. Her work continues to bridge education, creativity, and healing in meaningful ways.
